2024 Versailles Pumpkin Show

You’ll find the 2024 Versailles Pumpkin Show on the Ripley County Courthouse Square, just outside our office! The Pumpkin Show is one of the longest running shows in the state. The 2024 event kicks off on Wednesday, September 25th.

This year the amusements will be provided by Jessop Amusements with new digital ticketing and kiosks. There will be four ticket kiosks where you can buy a single night wristband or digital credits.

The Tri Kappa Art Show will take place in the Masonic Lodge.

2024 Pumpkin Show Events

Lions Club Home Arts & Craft Show entries are due by 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25th. Entries may be viewed from 5:00-9:00 p.m. each evening of the Pumpkin Show inside the Lions Club building.

The show begins with opening ceremonies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by music by Faith Lafary, the King & Queen contest, and music by Rachel Holt.

Winners of the Main Street Versailles baking contest will be announced on Thursday at 5:45 p.m. followed by music by Goose on the Roof, the Prince & Princess contest, pie eating contest, and music by Josh Wells.

On Friday, music will be provided by Mr. T’s Mohawk and Texas Star. The annual parade is at 10:30 on Saturday morning. Giant pumpkins will be weighed and awarded at 12:15 on Saturday, followed by Battle on the Border Pro Wrestling. Saturday’s musical acts include Safe in the Harbor, Jordan Dermody & Dermody Lane, and Sunday Drive. A community church service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Holdsworth Pavilion.

Rides, games, and food for purchase will be available throughout the Pumpkin Show.
