Primary Election Day
Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3rd for primary election day.
Voter registration for the general election opens on Tuesday, May 17th. This is also the first day that the circuit court clerk can receive absentee ballot applications from most voters for the general election. By September 24th, the county election board will mail absentee ballots to voters who have filed an application. October 31st is the deadline for citizens to submit an absentee ballot application to the circuit court clerk to request delivery of a ballot by mail.
Voter registration for the general election ends on October 11th.
