The town of Versailles is gearing up for the 116th Annual Pumpkin Show. The yearly festivities are a reminder to enjoy the bounty that Ripley County has to offer as summer fades into fall. From award-winning giant pumpkins to an assortment of baked goods in the annual recipe contest, attendees will find ways to celebrate fall all over town.
Schuerman Law is welcoming fall with our booth located just in front of the law office at the corner of Main and Tyson Streets. Our historic office building is decorated for fall and we are excited to greet old friends and make new ones at the festivities.
Stop by our booth for an opportunity to sign up for a chance to win great prizes. We’ll have a drawing for awesome local prizes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings at 7:45 p.m. Prizes include:
- Fall Fun: On Wednesday, we’ll be drawing for a $75 gift certificate to Vogt’s Farm’s 20th Annual Pumpkin Festival (September 26 & 27, October 3 & 4, 10 & 11, 17 & 18.) This annual event is full of fall festivities for the entire family! Pick your own pumpkins, enjoy homemade BBQ pork sandwiches, take a paddle boat or horse-drawn trolley ride, walk through the petting zoo, and more!
- Dinner and a Movie: On Thursday evening we’ll draw for a $35 gift certificate (4 pack of tickets and concessions) to the historic Damm Theater in Osgood in addition to a $40 gift certificate for dinner at the Osgood Grubb Co.
- Fear Factory: On Friday evening the prize will include admission for four to the Batesville Fear Factory Haunted House (ranked 5th in the state of Indiana for scariest by visitindiana.com!) to be used on one of the following dates: September 25 & 26, October 9 & 10, 23 &24, 30, or 31. This prize also includes a $40 gift certificate to Steak & Shake so you can enjoy a meal after scaring yourselves silly!
The Pumpkin Show 5k will take place on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. You can register in advance for $10 by filling out this form and mailing it in. Registration will also be available day-of in front of the Schuerman Law Office from 12:00-12:50 p.m. Schuerman Law will provide water for all race participants.
