Farmers markets allow you to buy fresh in-season produce directly from local farmers. You can also purchase local meat, handcrafted items, and enjoy a variety of events throughout the summer months at these weekly markets.
Ripley County has four farmers markets. Try to visit them all this year!
Batesville Farmers Market
The Batesville Farmers Market is located at the parking lot on Main and Boehringer Street in downtown Batesville. It’s held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon from May 6th to October 28th. There’s also a Wednesday market from 3:30-6 p.m. from July 5th through August 30th. Enjoy fresh local foods, handmade crafts, and occasional live music and events by local businesses.
Main Street Versailles Farmers Market
Check out local homegrown, homemade, and handmade vendors every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon on the Versailles Courthouse Square. The Main Street Versailles Farmers Market takes place from June 1st to September 21st. Kids can play in the splash pad at Hensley Park and enjoy a variety of activities throughout the summer.
Milan Farmers Market
The Milan Farmers Market is held at Daren Baker Memorial Park from June-September based on produce availability. It takes place on Tuesdays from 4-7 p.m.
Ripley County Farmers Market
The Ripley County Farmers Market is located at 305 Buckeye Street in Osgood. The Saturday marketing is open from 9 a.m. to noon June-October. The Wednesday market is held from 2:30-5:30 p.m. July through September.
