The Ripley County 4-H Fair takes place from Saturday, July 16 through Saturday, July 23, 2022. In addition to great food, rides, and games, the 4-H Fair includes a variety of activities and contests. Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect from this year’s event.
Exhibits
4-H members work hard to create projects and build skills to showcase during this annual event. The public is welcome to explore the exhibits during the fair. Exhibits include everything from handcrafted items to robotics, so there’s always something interesting to see!
You can also see a wide variety of animals at the 4-H fair. Cows, sheep, llamas, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, chickens, and more are shown at the fair. You can watch animal judging competitions, participate in the livestock auction, and even see horseback competitions.
Ripley County 4-H Fair Events
The grand opening kicks off on Sunday, July 17th with the crowning of the 2022 4-H Junior Leader King & Queen as well as the presentation of the 2022 Ripley County Queen & Court, followed by the 4-H Club Banner Parade and a fashion show. Other popular events include the Ripley County Baby Show, National Pedal Pullers and Racers, and live entertainment throughout the week.
2022 Ripley County 4-H Fair Details
The Midway features a variety of carnival rides and games each evening throughout the week. The grandstand hosts monster trucks, a demolition derby, supreme wrestling, mower races, a truck and tractor pull, and more.
